In fairness, he's not exactly Tom Brady as far as instant recognition. You'd probably need to be a pretty hardcore NFL fan to know what he looks like instantly. That said, star athlete or not, it's pretty bad that he wasn't even acknowledged. A customer is a customer and they should be treated with respect and given attention when they show interest in making a purchase.

I am surprised he even has Lambo $. But in all seriousness, high end dealerships are like that and usually take appts. The Lambo dealership here in Houston is the same way - even the Porsche dealership - and you see more of them than Lamborgini's....

Those Lamborghini's ain't cheap. Hopefully this dude doesn't go broke at the end of his career buying toys like that. Pretty wack that he didn't get any service though.

Fair point about those dealerships taking appointments. I guess they only want to deal with people who are serious potential buyers, not wannabes or people indulging in a fantasy. When there's that much commission on the line, sales people don't want to waste their time.

A lot of athletes go broke. For many, it's the first time they've had money after being poor most of their lives and they can't handle prosperity. A lot of them get scammed because they're not business-savvy too.

thanks for the comments. All I can say is I'm NOT suprised. Thats no way to treat customers in ANY business. This isn't Houston or NE its Dallas. They should have known better. Sensabaugh already has a collection of exotic cars he just wanted to expand it. Good think they aren't the only dealer in Dallas.

Oh and did I mention that he was the ONLY customer in the dealership at the TIME??

Wow! That's unfortunate Andro. I live in Dallas and would expect that from a perceived "HIGH CLASS" establishment. The truly unfortunate thing is that particular dealership could probably care less about him, his business, and the bad PR. And to the people who always say things along the line of, "he can't afford the purchase, or he'll probably go broke".....,. Did you say the same thing when you spend 60.00 on games a week, or finance a 50 inch LCD TV, or put 1,500 dollar tires on an import. The root of your statements are wrong and unjust. The simple fact of the matter is that this guy was wrongly type cast and ignored because of his looks, and who cares if he was dressed down or isn't recognizable because I highly doubt he drove up the dealership in a 2002 Camry.

good points Shad. I was thinking the same thing. Good thing there are a few Exotic Dealers around. Boardwalk anyone?
